My friend Robin who lives at The Landings typically does rescue and rehab of birds of prey. But this week she got a new challenge:  a baby otter that was injured in a brush fire outside Savannah. Part of his face and body were burned and at this point we don't know if he will make a successful recovery, but Robin isn't giving up. In fact in the picture below you'll see Ernest Otter resting comfortably in an isolette which was donated to her by Memorial Health!

She writes:

Poor little Ernie...he's a tiny bit improved though. It's hard to see his face because he's such dark brown.
