This is an official status update on Hurricane Irma from the Liberty County Emergency Management Agency.
All of Liberty County remains under a mandatory evacuation order; this includes all cities and towns. Liberty County is expected to experience deteriorating weather conditions, beginning Sunday evening and lasting through Monday evening. Certain areas of the County may be inaccessible during this time. While no curfew is in effect at this time, citizens are asked to remain in their houses and limit movement in the County until further notice. Law enforcement will be monitoring activity on the roadways and within communities.
