A woman in the UK ordered take-out food just so the delivery person would help her remove a spider from her home. She tweeted: “My fear of spiders was taken to a whole new level today in which I ordered food in a hope that the delivery driver would remove the spider.” Thankfully, delivery guy Joe was able to come to her rescue.
She decided to order some KFC, accidentally ordered two meals, and put a message in the delivery notes section. She wrote, "I have spoken to Deliveroo customer service, please can you help to remove a spider for me."
Around 20 minutes later, the doorbell rang and Sweeney ran down the stairs, past the spider, while holding a roll of tissue paper. She asked the driver if he'd seen her note.
Sweeney said the driver laughed and said, “I have, but I’m also scared of spiders.” But after she begged, he helped her out and removed the spider.
