The sign at the Roxy Movie Theater advertises ‘Heckboy’ among the other movie titles being shown.
However, the actual “Hellboy” movie poster is on view on the theater building, said theater Manager Belinda Daniel.
“To my knowledge, we have never put any words on our sign that may be seen as profanity. This is the way l believe, thus this is way we conduct business,” Daniel said.
They're trying to be respectful for the schoolchildren who pass the theater on a daily basis.
