As fears surrounding coronavirus spread around the world, here at home, many people are starting to worry that basic necessities will sell out in the event of an epidemic.
The public is growing more concerned as more confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus pop up in the U.S. and California. Stores in the Sacramento area report antibacterial cleaning and hygiene products selling out.
And when the virus hit New York City, people in the metropolitan area headed for their local stores to stock up, not only on Purell but also on water, paper towels and food.
