POLICE OFFICER RESCUES MAN IN WHEELCHAIR FROM TRACKS SECONDS AHEAD OF TRAIN

New York City's Subway System To Shut Down Overnight For Cleaning During Coronavirus Pandemic

A heroic California police officer rescued a man in wheelchair who was stuck on train tracks just seconds ahead of a train last week. Officer Erika Urrea jumped out of her patrol when she saw the situation as the railroad crossing arms were coming down, indicating a train was approaching. When she couldn't get the wheelchair to move, she pulled the 66-year-old man out of it and they both fell back to the ground, just before they would have been hit by the train. The rescue was captured on Urrea's body camera. (
