Thomas Callaway pleaded guilty to sexual battery and was sentenced on Tuesday. Alex Bozarjian was reporting live for WSAV at the Enmarket Savannah Bridge Run when Callaway slapped her on her backside.
During her live TV report at the Savannah Bridge Run last December, Alex Bozarjian of Savannah station WSAV-TV says she was assaulted. In the video, which has been viewed more than 10 million times, you can see one of the male runners moving behind her and appearing to slap her on the butt.
This week that man went to court and also apologized to Alex, an apology she says she accepted.
