Man straps utility pole to roof of car and gets charged with grand theft

Before you do something like this just consider how many cameras there are, everywhere. Police in Florida say a man from Lakeland is facing a grand theft charges after troopers say he loaded a downed utility pole onto the roof of his car and drove it to a recycling facility. Florida Highway Patrol troopers say they were called after a report of a theft on westbound I-4 on Monday (November 16th). They were told the driver had loaded a downed pole onto a small sedan and then drove to a recycling facility nearby, where he was turned away for not having the proper documentation for the equipment. Troopers say they found the driver, Douglas Hatley, nearby, recovered the utility pole, and arrested Hatley. He faces multiple charges.
