Dog Running on Busy TrainTracks (and Owner Who Was Chasing Him) Rescued!

Workers for the Metro-North Railroad commuter train service that operates in New York and Connecticut came to rescue when a dog was spotted running loose on the tracks, along with its owner. Signal supervisor Errol Bros and signal operator Christopher Paci said they were working when a train engineer spotted a man running on the tracks and slammed on the brakes. Paci said, "We made sure no trains were coming and started running down the tracks, yelling for the dog to come." The men said it was lucky that they had time to attempt the rescue, with Bros saying, "Lucky for him, at that particular time, there wasn't a train coming for a few minutes, which is very rare, especially in the Greenwich [Connecticut] area." Bros and Paci were able to corral the dog, named Pepper, and reunited it with its owner. Watch the local TV story here:
