It seems the days of Apple's iTunes may be numbered. Bloomberg reports the company is phasing out its content download and streaming service, and that CEO Tim Cook plans to unveil new features that no longer focus on the iPhone. One of those changes is getting rid of iTunes, which has been around since 2001, housing users' music, television, and podcast libraries. Going forward, three new desktop apps will be introduced-- Music, TV and Podcasts-- to house and manage the data. The news comes as part of Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference (it started yesterday, June 3rd.)
