Florida parents who actually welcomed a baby boy before Hurricane Dorian touched down in their state, decided to name their son after the storm. Tadashia Dorian Davis was born on September 2nd, two weeks ahead of his expected September 14th arrival, weighing in at four pounds and eight ounces. Mom Kay Lisa McCloud told Fox 23 Orlando, “I was hoping he would wait until after the hurricane. This is a storm I definitely won’t forget.” McCloud gave birth at Advent Health in DeLand -- an area of Florida that made new when Dorian's winds caused a tree to fall on an assisted living facility. Thankfully, the new parents told the news outlet that their home was spared and that they have working electricity.
