A server at an Italian joint in Euclid, Ohio, got the shock of her life after a guest left a $1,070 tip. The man and his wife first left a $100 tip on their meal. Then they purchased a $30 bottle of wine to go and added a $970 tip. When Samantha Meyer told the man he made a mistake with the second he replied, “No, I didn’t make a mistake, you were wonderful, this place is wonderful. I’d like you to have a good night.” Meyer payed it forward by sharing her tip with her co-workers.
