Recorded for Public Television in 1984, this series, which I believe is one of the best things public TV ever gave us, is a lively and riveting discussion featuring politicians, journalists, judges, and lawyers tackling issues which the Constitution . When I first watched this, I found this show ompelling and watched each and every episode from start to finish, and learned so much about how our country works.
Gun control, executive privilege, Congressional oversight, freedom of the press, the right to die, and immigration reform are just a few of the topics which are part of this series.
Even though this is 35 years old, you'll be amazed at how much of the discussion about this important document is relevant to most of the news stories of today, especially (but not limited to) those eminating from Washington. I hope you'll take the time to watch some, if not all, these episodes. One of the episodes features a very young Rudy Giuliani.
