A family was reunited with their stolen dog after eight months when the animal’s new owner walked him past their house. Eva Delgado was stunned to see the Chihuahua mix Charlie stroll past their home in Patterson, California. Charlie then answered Delgado's call, prompting a bizarre confrontation with the woman who claimed to own him. The woman refused to give Charlie up -- so Delgado followed her back to a garage where Charlie was spotted after escaping his home in March. Eva finally managed to reclaim her pet after calling police, with cops scanning a microchip that proved Charlie was her pet.
The Delgados are now deciding whether to press charges against the family they have accused of stealing Charlie.
