Nereida Araujo was trying to get to family in Pennsylvania for Thanksgiving. The Florida woman was asleep on an airplane when she felt a pop in her lower back, followed by her water breaking. The plane was heading toward a layover in Charlotte from Tampa, en route to Pennsylvania. So upon landing in Charlotte, medical assistance was provided and a baby girl was born around 2PM Wednesday on the jetway of Charlotte Douglas International Airport. Araujo says the baby girl is called Lizyana Sky Taylor, and that they plan to call her Sky.
