Remarkable!
An Indiana teenager is being honored after a distressed parent left a newborn child in a baby drop-off box he raised money to install. Nineteen-year-old Hunter Wart spent more than a year mowing lawns and scrapping metal to raise $10,000 to buy a Safe Haven Baby Box for the Seymour Fire Department. An alarm in the box alerted firefighters to the one-hour-old baby's presence within a minute of her arrival. The box had just been installed only 224 days earlier. Seymour Mayor Matt Nicholson honored Wart, who asked that the baby girl be named Mia.
