Cat who lost her paws, ears, and tail to frostbite is walking again

A cat who lost her paws, tail and ears to frostbite has been filmed learning to walk thanks to prosthetic legs. The poor feline called Dymka was immediately taken to the vets after it was found severely frostbitten in Novokuznetsk, Russia. But, despite looking like it may never walk again, the pet is starting to recover after being given prosthetic legs. Footage taken by the vets shows the cat taking some of its first tentative steps across the tiled floor. It manages to keep its balance and reaches its food. Since being shared to vetlinikabest’s Instagram page last month, more than 7,000 people have seen the video. Many flocked to the comments section to praise the work of the vets. “Amazing work, well done,” one commented. Another wrote: “Take a bow for your work.” And a third went one step further, joking: “You are wizards and doing wonders.” The vets’ plan to observe the cat for a month or so before sending it home to its owners.
