Some park goers at Disney World who were on the iconic Jungle Cruise ride had to be evacuated yesterday (February 27th) when their boat began taking on water. Local firefighters responded and helped get everyone off the boat safely without injury, and the ride reopened later in the day. Photos posted on social media showed people standing in the boat with about a foot of water around them and the boat partially sunk. Matthew Vince, who was one of the rescued riders, told CNN the boat, quote, "went from floating to sunk in about a minute." Hopefully the park provided them with a dry change of clothes!
