We keep hearing one of the most important ways to prevent spread of COVID-19 is to wash your hands with soap and water. Even the head of the CDC said this is a better method that using hand sanitizer. It's cheaper and works better. But why does this work so well? It has to do with the way the soap molecules are able to absolutely demolish viruses, like the coronavirus. And it doesn't atter what kind of soap you use.
