The basic story is that he always wanted to be an artist but needed something more secure so he became a cop. But he builty a little studio in his home and only painted once: it was a painting of Sting from one of his album covers.
He lost his battle to multiple sclerosis but before passing he gave his daughter a last request: "Give it to Sting."
His daughter posted the story on Instagram. And Sting's daughter saw it.
