Turkeys don’t care about your home décor. The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) says officers were dispatched to the home of a woman in Erie County after she discovered a wild turkey had crashed through a second-floor window. The woman was able to confine the bird to an upstairs bathroom before officials arrived, and two officers were able to pin down the turkey and use a neighbor’s fishing net to take it outside. The turkey did not appear to be seriously injured and was released.
