This is pretty intense. Kevin Mahan was riding his bicycle in Clovis, California recently when he noticed some birds overhead. He said his helmet camera captured the moment a hawk came within inches of him, seemingly trying to grab the camera from the top of his head. He describes the incident as a “hawkward encounter” in his YouTube post. He also added that members of local cycling groups on social media told him they had encountered the same bird in the same area, and that one friend reported being dive-bombed by the hawk four times.
