Planning a trip to Disney? Get ready to mask up!

Masks are again going to be required at Disney World and Disneyland for indoor locations and on Disney transportation, with the policy going into effect on Friday (July 30th). The requirement will apply to everyone, whether vaccinated or not. The change comes as the delta variant has been driving a surge in Covid-19 cases across the country. The home of Disney World, Orange County, Florida, on Tuesday had its highest number of daily new cases since the start of the pandemic, and the mayor has started recommending everyone wear masks indoors whether vaccinated or not. Cases are also rising in California, home of Disneyland, and the state is similarly advising wearing masks in indoor public spaces regardless of vaccination status.
