Now...an elk in Colorado got its antlers tangled up in a child’s swing and a wildlife officer came to its rescue. Officer Scott Murdoch responded to the Indian Hills community in Jefferson County after citizens contacted the department about an elk in distress. The elk was unable to free itself from the swing due to having non-typical antlers. Murdoch tranquilized the elk and removed the swing ropes, also removing the antlers, which officials said was done to prevent it from being targeted by hunters.
