Miss India Harnaaz Sandhu, who is a Bollywood actress, was crowned the 70th Miss Universe on Sunday (December 12th). She beat out 79 other contestants in the pageant, which was held in Israel and hosted by Steve Harvey. Miss Paraguay Nadia Ferreira came in second and Miss South Africa Lalela Mswane was third. Last year's pageant was delayed due to the pandemic before Andrea Meza of Mexico was crowned in May for a shortened tenure.
