Firefighters in Clewiston, Florida, rescued a dog that was found stuck in a storm drain at a public park. Jay B. Neal was walking around his neighborhood when he heard what sounded like an animal in distress. "I kept hearing this dog whining and couldn't quite figure out where it was coming from," Neal told WBBH-TV. He searched the area and found a dog trapped underground below a metal storm drain cover. Animal services responded to the park, but were unable to free the dog without more help. Firefighters were contacted and they were able to save the day. The dog, known as Stormy, was taken to be examined by a veterinarian, who found that it was uninjured
