A global test for a 4 day work week met with workers happy with the idea

A recent experiment conducted by 33 companies in the U.S. and four other countries concluded that full-time workers who were assigned a four-day, 32-hour work week with no reduction in pay were very happy with the change. Well, no surprise there. But their bosses were equally happy. The companies that participated in the trial reported that they were “extremely pleased” with the “performance, productivity and overall experience” of a shortened work week.
