9 year old finds a prehistoric tooth about 15 million years old

Molly Sampson, who is 9 years old, wants to be a paleontologist when she grows up. UPI reports that she has already scored her first big find on a beach near her home in Maryland. While out hunting for shark teeth, she found a megalodon tooth the size of her hand. Experts at the Calvert Marine Museum estimate that the tooth is about 15 million years old. The now-extinct mastodon looked like an elephant with even longer tusks.
