This visitor to a state park in Arkansas finds a 3.9 carat diamond

A visitor to Crater of Diamonds State Park in Murfreesboro, Arkansas, found a whooper of a diamond during a recent visit. David Anderson found a 3.9 carat brown diamond, the biggest found in the park since September 2021. Anderson is a frequent visitor to the park, and has unearthed some 400 gems since he started sifting through the dirt in 2007. Crater of Diamonds is the world’s only site open to the public that is known to contain diamonds.
