It's live TV. California meteorologist passes out during morning broadcast

A Los Angeles meteorologist collapsed on the air Saturday morning, falling behind her desk, just as fellow news anchors went to her for a segment. Alissa Carlson is now resting and recovering, according to KCAL, the Los Angeles CBS affiliate. In a post on her Facebook page Saturday, Carlson reassured followers. "Thanks for all the texts, calls and well wishes," she wrote . "I am going to be ok!"

A video posted to Twitter appears to show Carlson on air falling forward onto her desk before sliding to the ground just before she was set to give a weather update.
