Boss praises employee who sold his dog as they return to working in-office

His name is James Clarke and he's the CEO of Clearlink.

In a bizarre video call, he tells the staff they are going from remote work back to in-office. It came as a surprise to employees as many believed the company was "remote first".

The hardcore boss demanded employees come back to work in the office, and even praised an employee who sold his dog so he could keep working. And he claimed to be a humane person.

He claimed 30 employees had no opened their laptops in a month and even questoned a parent's ability to work while caregiving saying "I believe that only the rarest of full time caregivers can also be productive full time employees."
