Tory Nielsen got a winning Nebraska Lottery ticket, and when he claimed it, he asked if he could have a big check for his winnings. According to a post on the lottery’s Facebook page, the lottery responded, “Oh, heck yea you can.” The post includes a photo of Nielsen holding his big check — for $10. When asked what he planned to do with his winnings, he replied, “Letting it ride.” Not to be topped, Matt McDermott made a similar request a couple weeks later. His photo is also on the lottery’s Facebook page, holding his large $7 check.
