A six-year-old in Miami rescued herself from a would-be abductor by biting the man’s arm as hard as she could. The Miami Police Department reports that the child was playing with friends in a courtyard outside her home when a stranger grabbed her and tried to carry her off. When she bit his arm, he dropped her and ran. She told the police her mom taught her how to defend herself. She was later able to identify a suspect from video footage, and he has been arrested.
