87 year old woman foils an attacker in her home...and then feeds him

An 87-year-old woman ably fought off a teenage intruder inside her home in Maine. Then, she called 911 while he was snacking in her kitchen. Marjorie Perkins said she woke up at 2 a.m. one recent morning to find a young man standing over her bed. He threatened to “cut” her. She fought back with a chair as a weapon. At some point the youth, who was possibly very drunk at the time, announced he was hungry and headed for her kitchen. She gave him a box of peanut butter and honey crackers and a couple of tangerines, then called 911 while he was munching. The intruder left but was picked up nearby soon after. He has been charged with assault and various other crimes, including consuming alcohol as a minor.
