Joe Walsh’s annual Vets Aid will livestream this Sunday November 13. The 7th annual benefit show will feature full sets from Walsh, as well as Jeff Lynne’s ELO, The War on Drugs, The Flaming Lips, and Lucius. There will also be a special guest appearance by Stephen Stills.
Walsh aims to use this platform to raise funds and awareness for the still urgent and significant needs of our returning soldiers and their families.
All net proceeds from the concert will go directly to the veterans charities, through a rigorous vetting process. To date, Vets Aid has disbursed nearly $3,000,000 in grants.
The livestream from San Diego, will begin at 8:00pm ET on Sunday exclusively with Veeps.
Veterans and their wellbeing have always been important to Walsh, a Gold Star son himself. His father was a flight instructor for the first US operational jet powered aircraft, the Lockheed F-80 Shooting Star, and died while stationed and on active duty on Okinawa when Walsh was 20 months old.
