A 62-year-old woman was arrested at a Walmart in Michigan (Genoa Township) after allegedly shoplifting over $700 worth of items during a “shop with a cop” event. The event had over 70 police officers present. The incident occurred when a clerk notified police that the woman had packed a cart with goods and ran through the self-checkout without paying. As officers and children were shopping, the woman allegedly walked out of the store with various items, including groceries and clothes.
