NFL commissioner Roger Goodell is giving credit where credit is due, and he’s thanking pop superstar Taylor Swift for the boost she has given the league. During his annual Super Bowl press conference in Las Vegas, Goodell acknowledged the positive impact Taylor’s relationship with Kansas City Chiefs’ Travis Kelce has had on the NFL.
… While Goodell acknowledged the competitive games on the field as a factor, he couldn’t deny the presence of Taylor Swift and her “Swifties” has brought a whole new audience to the league.
… When questioned if the relationship between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce was scripted, Goodell laughed it off, noting that the league could never come up with something as good as this.
