Conductor finds a bag containing $30,000 on a New York Train

Workers for New York's Metropolitan Transportation Authority reportedly found a bag containing $30,000 on a public train.

Detective Kristin Riker of the MTA Police found a day planner in the bag, and tracked down the owner from there. "I saw this person had an appointment to get their car inspected so I ended up contacting the mechanic," Riker said.

Fortunately, the MTA was able to reunite the owner with the bag of cash.
