In Charlotte, Derrick notices this little squirrel Richard coming by on a regular basis and manages to befriend him, even feeding him out of his hand.
Richard is affectionate and makes himself at home--inside and outside Derrick's home--to the point where he felt Richard needed a place of his own. And once completed, he noticed something else.
A few visitors he'd never seen before. And one of them had her eye on Richard!!!
