The Florida Highway Patrol has released footage of an unusual suspect: A bear attempting to break into a parked police car.
The Instagram post says the bruin is “wanted” for “attempted burglary.” The bear, who has been nicknamed Teddy, was unable to enter the vehicle because the doors were locked.
A possible motive? Snacks. Bears have been known to enter unlocked cars in search of yummy treats people may leave behind. Officials recommend keeping vehicles free of food and locking doors to deter these furry “bandits.
