Why a Man Bought the Waterslide From An Ohio Theme Park That Was Closing

The now-closed Coney Island theme park in Ohio was set to demolish all of its pools and rides, but one fan and former employee decided to purchase a waterslide. Adam Woltermann worked at the park for five seasons. “I went on Facebook and saw a post going out that a business was selling all the Coney slides and all the pool equipment. I looked at it and thought — why not?” he said. Woltermann bought the Silver Bullet slide, which was built in 1945. What’s he going to do with it? “I would love to see it in use again, but no immediate plans,” Woltermann said
