Writer Tom Nichols in the current issue of The Atlantic shares a very personal and emotional attachment he had to one special cat--saying he wasn't exactly a cat fan, but at the lowest point in his life about fifteen years ago, he saw this cat in the window of a vet's office every day on his way to work, and something made him think maybe I should offer her a home.
