One Chick-Fil-A is charging kids $35 for a summer camp at the restaurant

One restaurant location in Louisiana is offering kids a unique summer day camp: Learn to work at a Chick-fil-A. From July 22nd to July 24th, kids between five and 12 years old will have the chance to learn dining room hosting and customer service skills. Children attend for one day and the fee is $35. The fee includes a Kids Meal, T-shirt, name tag, and snack. Some commenters feel the camp idea is actually exploiting kids. “Wait. You’re wanting parents to check notes pay you, to use their young children as laborers,” one wrote. “It’s nice to see an offer to teach young children about work ethic and responsibility, while having a little fun at the same time,” another said.
