Marlon Wayans has issued a PSA to potential robbers: "Don't waste your time."
On social media he offered an update after his Los Angeles home was burglarized last month, sharing in a July 4 video that everyone is fine and not much was taken before issuing the PSA to future thieves.
"They didn't really get much because I don't own s---," Wayans said, calling on burglars to "save your energy" in the caption. "I don’t have anything valuable in my house except MY HOUSE. Sorry, I live a simple life."
"Don’t waste your energy or your life doing home invasions, stuff is is too heavy!" Wayans added. "You want to carry all that? Throw your back out, and for what?! I repeat, I don’t own anything valuable. I don’t have a bunch of cash or jewelry. Please pick a better [target]."
TMZ previously reported that Wayans' home was broken into by two thieves on June 29 at around 2:30 a.m. while his brother Keenen Ivory Wayans was asleep. A staffer discovered in the morning that the home had been ransacked and that a safe had been taken.
