Newly discovered Olivia Newton John tape becomes a new song to beat cancer

Pianist and songwriter extraordinaire Jim Brickman while going through an archive of cassette tapes stumbled upon a tape of a song he and Olivia Newton John wrote many years ago but never released.

And in much the same way as The Beatles took a cassette recording of John Lennon and created a brand new state of the art song, Jim has done the same, and matched Olivia's stunning voice with Italian pop trio Il Volo and created a new music track for the song which is being released with the goal of not only keeping Olivia's music alive but also to raise money for her foundation to beat cancer.

Here, Jim tells the story of how the song came to be and treats us to a little of the finished product which comes out September 20.
