David Schwimmer Once Delivered Divorce Papers To Rod Stewart

David Schwimmer, who played Ross on "Friends" says he will never forget the first time he met Rod Stewart!

While appearing on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert he looked back at the odd jobs he took on before making it big in Hollywood. "One summer after my freshman year in college, I was just looking for work, and my mom said, 'Well, you can be a process server for me,'" he recalled. "My mom was a divorce lawyer, and I was the guy who would pop out of the bushes and serve you divorce papers."

At the time, Schwimmer was 18-years-old and felt like "James Bond" as he would often get tips on where people receiving the papers may be.

"Once, oh man, thank goodness I've never run into him since, but I served Rod Stewart," the actor said, laughing. "I don't even know if he knows. I don't think he knows."

"You could theoretically run into Rod Stewart sometime! Now he knows to punch you," host Stephen Colbert joked.
