So what's the story with those drones over New Jersey? Here's the answer.

As I mentioned Monday (January 27), during his campaign, Donald Trump promised to release info about the east coast drones within days of taking office. He took his time and conspiracy theorists were getting antsy.

… On Tuesday, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said that she had just come from the Oval Office with news that had already been shared by the FBI and Homeland Security: the sightings likely involved a mix of lawful commercial drones, hobbyist devices, and misidentified objects, with no evidence of a national security threat

President Donald Trump has revealed the source of the mysterious drones over New Jersey, saying they were authorized to conduct 'research.'

In the first press briefing of Trump's second administration, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said: 'After research and study, the drones that were flying over New Jersey in large numbers were authorized to be flown by the FAA for research and various other reasons.'

She said information had come 'directly from the president of the United States that was just shared with me in the Oval Office'.
