Shelby Martin, 30, gave birth to son Cassian -- weighing 12 pounds and 14 ounces -- at HCA Healthcare's TriStar Centennial Women's Hospital in Nashville on July 29th. The newborn became the largest baby delivered at the facility in three years. Martin underwent a cesarean section at 36 weeks after doctors determined the baby was too large for vaginal delivery. "There was a real risk he could get stuck during delivery. That changed everything," Martin said. "I knew the safest choice was a C-section." Martin called her son "the brightest rainbow we had been dreaming of" after experiencing pregnancy loss exactly one year earlier on her 29th birthday. Cassian joins brothers Jonah, 7, Waylon, 8, and Elijah, 9.
