JIMMY KIMMEL CALLS OUT SENATORS WHO VOTED AGAINST CLOSING GUN-LAW LOOPHOLE

A tearful Jimmy Kimmel addressed Sunday’s shooting in Las Vegas on Live! last night. He said: “I want this to be a comedy show! I hate talking about stuff like this. It feels like someone has opened a window into hell.” The host made his case for gun control against a backdrop picture of the 56 Senators who voted against closing the gun-law loopholes. In response to politicians like Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan who offer their thoughts and prayers in the wake of tragedies like this, Kimmel replies, “They should be praying. They should be praying for God to forgive them for letting the gun lobby run this country.”

Jimmy Kimmel has been on a crusade against the Republicans’ health care proposals, and according to The Blast, he has been forced in increase security at his shows as a result. Sources tell the gossip website that the comedian and his crew have had run-ins with protestors at the show, and have also received “concerning” emails and letters from alleged President Trump supporters.
