TRUMP VISITS HOSPITAL, POLICE HQ IN LAS VEGAS AFTER MASSACRE

President Trump traveled to Las Vegas on Wednesday (October 4th), where he met with hospitalized victims of Sunday's massacre, medical professionals who treated them, and with police officers and other first responders who responded to the mass shooting in which 58 people were killed and hundreds injured. Trump, who was accompanied by first lady Melania Trump, offered prayers and condolences to the victims and thanked and praised the first responders and doctors who rushed to save lives. He said, "America is truly a nation in mourning. Our souls are stricken with grief for every American who lost a husband or a wife, a mother or a father, a son or a daughter. We know that your sorrow feels endless. We stand together to help you carry your pain."
